Apple officially releases the much awaited update 10.6.3 for its Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Apple says that with this latest update, pricnipalmente aimed at correcting the vulnerabilities (many) occurred during the last few months, there will be several improvements in performance and functionality.
Following the main news about the update to Mac OS X 10.6.3 Apple ( reported directly from the official site ):
- More efficient performance of Logic Pro 9 and Main Stage 2 in 64-bit mode;
- Improved reliability of print
- Increased reliability under suspension and reactivation when using the reactivation request via Bonjour
- Solution to the problem of color in iMovie with HD content
- Solution to the problem caused by too-bright pixels, stuck, or when viewing dark video using the iSight camera built nell'iMac (Late 2009)
- Solution for -36 error reported by the Finder when copying folders on a drive formatted as FAT32
- Increased reliability of screensavers with photos
- Solution to the problems of compatibility with applications based on OpenGL
- Solution to the problem of gray instead of black shadows in the PDF of the album in Aperture
- Solution inability to raise the volume level of the microphone for iChat, after it is lowered to prevent the return of the sound
- Increased reliability of some third-party USB devices
- Restrict access to members of groups hosted by a non-Apple directory service, such as Active Directory, via the Accounts preference pane

- Improved reliability and better compatibility with QuickTime X
- Data Collection: Mac OS X v10.6.3 can collect diagnostic information and use the Mac in use and automatically send it to Apple for analysis. But the information is collected only after obtaining consent, to be sent anonymously to Apple. For more details, see this article.
