Rilasciata da NVIDIA la prima release dei driver Forceware BETA 257.15 per le schede video di ultima generazione della famiglia 256.

Un aggiornamento importantissimo che oltre a migliorare le prestazioni delle schede Video NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 400, implementano un valido supporto all’ innovativa tecnlogia Blue-Ray attraverso l’applicazione 3D Vision.

Tra le novità bisogna segnalare il nuovo pannello di Configurazione, che migliora la gestione delle schede video NVIDIA GEFORCE presenti nel sistema triple SLI, assegnando in modo specifico le elaborazioni legate alla fisica, o la gestione della pipeline 3D, a seconda delle preferenze gestionali dell’utente.

Da non dimenticare alcune novità nelle modalità anti-aliasing ( sempre per configurazioni triple SLI di NVIDIA ) in grado di raggiungere un livello pari a 96x qualora il sistema presenti 3 schede video GeForce della famiglia GTX 400.

La release Beta dei Driver Forceware è disponibile per Windows Vista/Seven a 32 e 64 Bit, e per Windows XP a 32 e 64 Bit.

This is the first driver release from the Release 256 family of drivers (versions 256.xx to 259.xx). This driver package supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, and 400-series desktop GPUs as well as ION desktop GPUs. Learn more about Release 256 drivers here .

Upgrades PhysX System Software to version 9.10.0222.
Adds support for OpenGL 4.0 for GeForce GTX 400 Series GPUs.
Adds support for CUDA Toolkit 3.1 which includes significant performance increases for double precision math operations. See CUDA Zone for more details.
Adds a new NVIDIA Control Panel setup page for SLI and PhysX for ultimate control over multi-gpu configurations.
Adds a new NVIDIA Control Panel feature for ultimate control over CUDA GPUs, allowing the user to effectively choose which GPU will power each CUDA application.
Includes numerous bug fixes. Refer to the release notes on the documentation tab for information about the key bug fixes in this release.

NVIDIA – scarica gli ultimi driver 196.21 per Xp-Vista-Windows 7

Nei giorni appena trascorsi NVIDIA ha rilasciato la nuova e ultima versione dei driver Forceware 196.21, per le proprie schede Video. L’ultimo aggiornamento comprende le schede video della serie 6, 7, 8, 9, 200 e ION, con delle nuove e interessanti implementazioni.

Da segnalare senz’altro la compatibilità resa disponibile ,con questa release ma solo dalla serie 8, con il 3D Vision Discover, soluzione per il video 3D stereoscopico ( utilizzando occhiali di tipo passivo e non attivo ) e il supporto al DirecCompute se si utilizza il Sistema operativo Windows 7.
Da sottolineare anche una nota per i videogiocatori che usano NVIDIA per far girare i loro titoli, è stato esteso il supporto della tecnologia SLI ad alcuni giochi appena usciti che non ne avevano ancora il supporto, aggiornando anche l’ormai rinomato software Physx.

Ecco i nuovi Driver ATI Catalyst, resi disponibili da AMD per le nostre schede video Radeon HD2000/3000/4000/5000 su sistemi opearativi Windows.
Questa nuova versione di driver fornisce un supporto completo per Directcupute 10.1 per schede video HD 4800 e HD 4700, per configurazioni standard o Crossfire, estendendo anche il supporto Open GL 3.2 su tutte le schede Radeon HD.

AMD sostiene che questi Driver migliorino le prestazioni ludiche ( Videogiochi ) e amministrative di circa il 10%, riferendosi alle schede HD5800/5700, effettuando il test con il famoso Benchmark 3D Mark Vamtage di casa FutureMark.

Le notività non terminano qui, infatti oltre ai Driver AMD ATI mette a disposizione un Hotfix ( da scaricare separatamente ) che aggiunge il supporto completo per l’accelerazione tramite GPU di OpenCL se si usufruisce di ATI Stream SDK v2.0. Questa funzione è supportata dalle schede ATI Radeon HD 5970, ATI Radeon HD 5800, ATI Radeon HD 5700, ATI Radeon HD 4000 e FireStream 9200.

Tramite questo Hotfix viene finalmente aggiunto anche il supporto per ATI CrossFireX su configurazioni multi-monitor che usan la tecnologia ATI Evefinity, il supporto per audio via DisplayPort e risolti i problemi con i recentissimi titoli quali Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Resident Evil 5, City of Heroes, Wheelman, Enemy Territories: Quake Wars e Chronicles of Riddick.

Ecco i Nuovi Driver ATI Catalyst, resi disponibili da AMD per le nostre schede video Radeon.

La novità della nuova release è l’implementazione WHQL per i sistemi che installano il nuovo sistema operativo Windows 7. Questi sono anche i primi Driver che supportano le recenti schede video della serie radeon HD 5000, mettendo a disposizione il supporto per le DirectX 11 e DirecCompute 11 implementando le nuove modalità anti-aliasing con tecnologia Supersampling.

Download Driver nVidia Forceware 195.39 beta per Windows 7 – Vista – XP

Dopo Ati, anche nVidia si è decisa a rilasciare il suo nuovo set di Drivers Forceware Beta per le schede video dalla serie GeForce 6 in avanti, che supporto per piattaforme ION. Questa ultima sfornata di Driver, Forceware 195.39 beta, risolvono più di 200 Bug presenti nelle precedenti versioni rilasciate, aggiungendo profili SLI pensati appositamente per alcuni nuovi titoli come: FIFA Soccer 2010, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Borderlands, League of Legends: Clash of Fates, NHL 2009, Order of War, G-Force, Race On e Star Trek: D-A-C.

Tra le nuove implementazioni troviamo anche il supporto OpenCL 1.0 per tutte le schede video dalla Serie GeFroce 8 in poi, e il CUDA Toolkit release 3.0
